Education standard:
The most important reason why a student should come
to Turkey is its quality of education. Türkiye has a
great education system that maintains a minimum
standard compatible with the European education
standard. Some world-class public and private
universities in Turkiye rank in the top five hundred
in the world. Middle East Technical University,
Çankaya University, Koç University, and Sabancı
University are some of the top-ranking universities
not only in Türkiye but in the whole World. Apart
from those, Marmara University, Istanbul University,
Kocaeli University, Sakarya University, and Atatürk
University are among the top national public
                            universities that offer excellent education.
Education in Turkiye is more focused on practical
education than theoretical education. All the
                            universities have sufficient modern laboratory
facilities of excellent quality. Students of certain
faculties such as Technology Faculty are even
required to do mandatory internships before
finishing their studies. There are a lot of research
options as well. Students also benefit from exchange
programs like the Erasmus and Farabi exchange
program where they can study for one or two
semesters in a European university or another
university in another region of Türkiye.

Country status:
Türkiye is a country situated at the crossroads of
the Balkans, Caucasus, Middle East, and eastern
Mediterranean. This country connects Asia to Europe
via the city of Istanbul. Most of the city of
Istanbul is situated on the European side. The
Bosphorus straight is the only waterway that divides
the continents. According to World Bank, Türkiye is
an upper middle-income country and one of the seven
emerging countries. Thus, life in Türkiye is not
much different from that of any other European
                            country.

Campus Life:
Turkish University campuses are very large, often situated outside the city, in a serene natural environment. The campuses are neat and clean. They are very safe as well. There is absolutely no politics whatsoever among students in Turkish universities. Turkish university students have government and private dormitories. These dorms have the service equivalent of a three-star hotel with facilities like library, study room, canteen, gymnasium, indoor and outdoor playgrounds, and entertainment saloon. They have standardized and centralized catering services in the dormitory and university canteen. Food in the university canteen costs barely anything. And two third of the frees of a private dormitory are paid for by the government via subsidies.
